Galaxy Wood Catfish (Tatia galaxias)

Also known as the Milky Way Wood Catfish, this species is a small catfish species that is found in Venezuela, Colombia, and Brazil. It is recognized by its overall black/dark brown coloration and white spotting, which resembles the night sky and stars. Reaching a typical adult size of 4 inches, it is an excellent fish for many planted and community aquariums.
